Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun has said that the Nigerian Government had received over 2,500 tips that could lead to loot recovery and blocking of leakages.

Adeosun made this known at a town hall meeting in Abuja to highlight the achievements of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

According to her, the whistle-blower policy has helped to make every Nigerian a detective in the fight against corruption. Adeosun said the fight against corruption is the people’s fight, as some of the whistle-blowers are not looking for rewards but are helping out of patriotic zeal.

The minister commended Nigerians for embracing the policy, thereby making it a national fight against corruption.
