Chairman National Population Commission Eze Duru-iheoma has confirmed that the third phase of the Enumeration Area Demarcation for the 2018 population and housing census will begin from the 20th February to the 15th march 2017.

Duru-iheoma who made this known at a media briefing in Abuja, said the Enumeration Area Demarcation which forms the basis for the planning and execution of the census project will help identify lapses before the commencement of the census exercise.

He also said the internally displaced persons will not be left out during the exercise as every person living in Nigeria will be captured.
The NPC chairman appealed to states and Local Government Councils, traditional institutions and communities to support the commission by giving free access to facilities and places to be demarcated.
