Senate President, Bukola Saraki said the public hearing will hold on February 7th and 8th with various interests putting input to make the budget more people-oriented.
Recall that the 2017 Appropriation Bill passed a second reading at the Senate last week after a three-day debate.
Saraki had urged the standing committees to thoroughly review the estimated revenues and expenditure, so as to produce a realistic and implementable budget for the nation.
He said the budget must be tailored towards pulling the country out of the recession, investing in the people, and laying foundation for a diversified sustainable inclusive economic growth.
