Nigerians urged to end harmful practices

Despite the African Charter on Human and People’s Rights’ as well as Nigerian constitution that provides for respect for life, there are still reports of traditional practices that encourage killing of babies, especially twins and albinos.

Pastor Shola Stephens of Vine Heritage Home Foundation, Kuje told WE FM News desk that over 40 communities in the FCT are still involved in such practices.
He urges Nigerians to support the cause for ending harmful traditional practices, especially those that lead to killing.
