Buckingham Palace has announced that the Duke of Edinburgh is retiring from royal duties this autumn. A palace spokesman said the decision was made by Prince Philip himself and is supported by the Queen.

An Abuja Federal High Court has adjourned the hearing in the case of procurement fraud involving former Director-General of National Broadcasting Commission, NBC Emeka Mba and three others to May 24th.

Others charged are Director of Finance of NBC, Patrick Areh; Basil Udotai and Babatunde Amure.
Presiding judge, Justice Gabriel Kolawole adjourned continuation of hearing in the case to May 24 for cross-examination of the prosecution witness by the defense counsel.

Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC had accused MBA and other accused persons of money laundering and breach of procurement Act to the tune of N2.8 billion.They all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
