Lagos state today launched a special security outfit, Neighbourhood Safety Corps.
The State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode at the event, acknowledged the House of Assembly for speedy passage of the Bill which he signed in August 2016 that created the neighbourhood Safety Corps.
Ambode also noted that the new security outfit is meant to support and complement, rather than compete with the Nigeria Police Force.
